The second Year 8 team to make the trip to Hawkes Bay for their respective tournament had a near perfect run, claiming 4 out of 5 wins and a very narrow loss to East Coast.
It was great to see all the boys get a good crack at batting and bowling. Although often un-noticed, the fielding efforts were outstanding by all accounts from this group.
A massive achievement to topple some strong teams, but also some incredible individual performances. See below for some great stats – keep an eye out for some future stars in the making!

Some incredible individual performances from this talented group, big shout out to Taylor Thomson for his 125*, a massive milestone for such a young cricketer – he also managed to score 203 runs over the tournament in just 4 innings!
